First impressions: useful carpet features, with corner and cable limitations
Tested at home: mop detachment worked on my high-pile rug. Full pickup, stain and obstacle-course tests are still to come.

REAL-WORLD TESTING
First impressions
These are my first impressions after running the robot downstairs, not my full review. TP-Link supplied the unit free of charge and had no editorial control. Mop detachment worked well on my high-pile rug. The hair cutter operates at the dock, but a proper hair test is still planned, along with full pickup, dried-stain and obstacle-course tests. The extending mop and hot-water dock are manufacturer features, not completed performance-test results. Pet zones were described as a future update, so I have not treated them as a tested feature.
Strengths
- Automatic mop detachment worked on my high-pile rug, keeping it dry.
- The narrow 35 cm dock saves width; the water tanks hold 5 litres of clean water and 4 litres of dirty water.
- Hard-floor and doormat pickup looked fine in my initial runs. Normal suction mode was fairly quiet.
Limitations
- Corner pickup was weak without an extending side brush.
- It avoided the fake pet mess and small figurines but drove over a cable.
- Mechanical rolling noise was noticeable, and mop attachment was louder than on the MOVA and Dreame models I have tested.
- The sealed detergent cartridge cannot be refilled; the ramp also needs extra depth.
