The review
My stain test used mop-only mode at the highest water setting: two passes with detergent, followed by a clean-water pass after washing the pads. Weigh the better mopping against the extra water use and high-pile carpet limitations.
Strengths
- Dried ketchup, jam and mustard were practically gone after three passes, with a small ketchup trace remaining: around 3.5 passes overall.
- Mopping improved compared with the original Romo P, including the clean feeling underfoot.
Limitations
- It used more water than the original Romo P in my mopping test.
- High-pile carpet pickup was mediocre in my testing.
